Carolyn Brooks works from her studio in Queanbeyan NSW on a broad spectrum of artistic projects. Coming from a long career as an illustrator/designer, she is now exploring print-making, portraiture and painting, whilst still employing her illustration and design skills to promote various environmental organisations. She has worked in design studios and as a freelance illustrator/designer in Australia, New Zealand and the U.S. and has taught illustration to tertiary level design students.
Carolyn works in a variety of styles and mediums including Charcoal, Conte, Soft Pastel, Scraperboard, Pen & Ink, Digital, Coloured Pencil, Wax Crayon, Oil Pastel, Acrylic, Oil and Mixed Media. Her current clients include ACT Government departments, local councils and not-for-profit groups, all with a focus on sustainability.
